If you are not a walker, getting to the summit of Pen-y-Ghent is a serous hike. For most walkers it’s a good day out – but faced with a disability it becomes a major challenge

Jack Morgan and Richard Brooks are raising money for the Cave Rescue Organisation and are aiming to reach the summit of Pen-y-Ghent on their specially adapted mountain trikes.

As well as wishing them every success, the Darkness Below team thought we’d try to help them hit their target – by trying to persuade some of our readers to dig into their pockets and contribute.

They are aiming to raise £500, and are already part of the way there.cro

Take a look at their Just Giving page for further information and details of how to donate and do support them if you can!

The Cave Rescue Organisation are one of the busiest mountain rescue teams in the UK, so please also share this as widely as you can!

And a message to Jack and Richard – please get in touch if you read this and let us have some photos of your ride. We’ll be happy to help promote your ride and fundraising effort!
