Annual General Meeting

Notice is hereby given that the 2018 Annual General Meeting of the British Cave Research Association will be held on Saturday 13 Oct 2018 at 12:00 during the BCRA Cave Science Symposium at the University of Bristol. For further info about the Symposium visit the BCRA forum. Please note that copies of the agenda papers will not be distributed at the meeting. Anyone wishing to view the papers should dowload them in advance of the meeting. Or, if you do not have web access, please contact the secretary.

Ghar Parau Foundation

The Ghar Parau Foundation (GPF)  was originally set up as a sub-charity of BCRA. However, changes in the status of sub-charities and in banking regulations have made it increasingly difficult for the GPF trustees to operate. After discussions between the trustees of GPF and BCRA, we have agreed that it would be desirable to close the present GPF sub-charity and to re-establish it as an independent charity in its own right. Three motions will be presented to the BCRA AGM. For details please see the AGM notice on our web site.

BCRA Annual Review 2017

BCRA Annual Review 2017 – our review of last year’s activities – will be available for free download prior to the AGM and Science Symposium. A small number will be available on paper to purchase at the meeting at a price of £5. The Review contains a copy of the draft minutes of the 2017 AGM, and the 2017 Annual Report and Accounts that we submit to the Charity Commission.
