Anyone thinking of heading up to Littondale over the next five weeks is likely to face road works from 4th April to 13th May according to the North Yorkshire Highways website – for more details take a look at http://www.northyorks.gov.uk/article/26662

Closures between Kilnsey and Arncliffe and further towards Litton and Foxup are indicated, with diversion routes in place.

Thanks to John Cordingley for highlighting the problem who suggests anyone heading for say Penyghent Gill from the Skipton direction may find it easier to travel via Settle and Stainforth rather than Wharfedale.

John has also pointed out that the road through the middle of Settle will be closed for about three weeks from the 4th April from 6pm to midnight between the old police station and the railway bridge.
