Darkness Below plans to run a monthly photo salon so that a selection of readers’ photos can be enjoyed by everyone. As a trial, here are a few that were sent in to us in the past few days. If you would like to see one or more of your photos included in a monthly salon, please send them to us with a note of who you are and some information about each photograph.

Each month, we hope to showcase a selection of the photos sent to us, and choose a winner – no prizes – just a warm feeling that yours is the best of the month. Whether this idea takes off is entirely up to you, so have a look through your best images, or take your camera down a cave and send us the results.

Please don’t be offended if your photograph doesn’t appear – it may be simply that we have too many to choose from! At the moment, you can post your photos to our Facebook page in a message, or email them to admin@darknessbelow.co.uk, or send us the URL of a good quality photo.

We will make a new photo submission page for the website, if the idea is successful. Please note that this is not planned to be an image hosting facility – we are not yet developing a “users’ gallery” for the website.
