A change of mood for the February caption competition, and a couple of weeks extra to give you more thinking time.

The Darkness Below UK Caption Competition is designed for the bored and distracted caver or miner, stuck behind a desk above ground with just a screen and a long “to do” list for company.

The prize – kudos – add your name to the Darkness Below UK Hall of Fame. That should be enough, after all we explore for glory!

The winner will be chosen by the Darkness Below Caption judge – whose identity remains secret for obvious reasons (corruption and bribery etc).
