The 2023 JRat Digging Award presentation will take place in the Long Room of the Hunter’s Lodge Inn, Priddy, Somerset on Saturday 25th November. The evening will kick off at 7.30 pm and will include talks and presentations from Mendip digging teams before the presentation of the award to the winning team. The winning dig, as usual, will be the one with the longest length of passage discovered and surveyed (in excess of 50m), anywhere under Mendip or Scotland, during the period November 1st 2022 to October 31st 2023.
The event will also include presentations of the latest finds and digs that haven’t “gone” yet! If you want your dig to be considered either for the prize or as part of the event, submit your dig by 4th November to [email protected]
